ABOUT THE JOB
We are expanding globally and we need to strengthen our accounting and finance team to support our global expansion.
The role of Subsidiaries Accountant is to join the finance team and take responsibility for the accounting and financial control of our subsidiaries (either France, Italy, USA, or Natoora Farming).
You will be responsible for the accounting, financial control and financial reporting for one of our subsidiaries.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Monthly management accounts preparation
- Accounts receivables tracking and collection
- Accounts payables tracking and payments
- Cashflow preparation and allocation of payments
- VAT/TAX returns
- Bank reconciliations
- Inputting invoices into Sage/QuickBooks
- Financial reporting and analysis
- Supporting the Budgeting process
- Assist the Financial Controller in the development and improvement of internal systems
about you
- You must have completed a chartered accounting degree (ie ACCA, ACA, CIMA in the UK or equivalent in France, Spain or USA)
- Knowledge of SAGE 50 or Quickbooks accounting system
- Previous experience as financial controller or senior accountant with responsibility for a full entity
- Analytical mind, ability to explain variances, strong attention to detail, accuracy and problem-solving
- Strong Excel skills
- Good communication skills
- French, Italian or Spanish language an advantage
