Business Development Manager

Full time role, based in our London office.

We are looking for a Business Development Manager to grow our presence in the city — identifying and winning the restaurants, hotels, and caterers that share our belief that the food system can be fixed.

This is a hands-on, field-based role covering the full sales cycle, from first conversation to close, with a direct impact on how Natoora grows in London.

You will be representing our mission in every aspect of the role — from selecting samples to delivering a pitch. We supply some of the most forward-thinking, discerning figures in the industry, and we hold ourselves to a standard that matches that.

Responsibilities

Build the pipeline and win new business

Actively prospect new customers across restaurants, hotels, and contract catering — through cold outreach, field visits, and direct meetings. Build and maintain a structured, well-qualified pipeline, leading sales conversations with confidence and closing new business opportunities that are the right fit for Natoora. Embed new accounts quickly and set them up for a strong, long-term relationship from day one.

Represent Natoora in the field

Be the face of Natoora in London — bringing genuine knowledge of our produce, our growers, and our mission into every conversation. You will need to be comfortable in a variety of settings, from busy kitchens to boardrooms, and able to connect with people from all walks of life. The best introductions don't always happen in a formal meeting; sometimes it's arriving with something extraordinary and letting the product speak for itself.

Own the commercial detail

Track activity, pipeline progress, and performance through regular reporting. Work closely with the wider team — operations, buying, and account management — to ensure new accounts are set up to be served well from the moment they come on board.

ABOUT YOU

  • Proven experience in business development or a commercial sales role, ideally within food, hospitality, or premium FMCG
  • Excellent knowledge of the London restaurant industry — you know the kitchens, understand how chefs buy, and have the relationships or the drive to build them
  • Comfortable with cold prospecting and self-directed pipeline management — you don't wait to be told where to look
  • Genuinely motivated by sales and by delivering a service that matches the quality of what we source
  • Outgoing, personable, and at ease with people in any setting — from a kitchen pass to a client meeting
  • A genuine passion for food, provenance, and sustainable sourcing — you care about this, not just commercially

What success looks like

First 6 months: a live, well-managed pipeline is in place, the first wave of high-quality new accounts has been won and is trading well, and Natoora's presence in the London market is visibly growing.

6 to 24 months: Natoora is landing in kitchens that genuinely move the needle — accounts that reflect who we are, what we stand for, and the quality of what we source.

OUR PEOPLE

Voir tout

We exist to fix the food system.

People are more cut off from the origins of their food than ever. This makes flavour, nutrition and farming practices that protect the planet, almost impossible to find.

By working directly with growers, we create a more sustainable way forward for farming. By giving everyone the tools to understand the power of our food choices, we empower everybody to become drivers of change.

Now is the time for action. Join the food system revolution.

Know where your food comes from

We know the name of the people behind everything we source. Recognise their growing artistry to find out exactly where your food comes from (and why that matters).

MEET THE GROWERS

Make your diet diverse

Our growers work with varieties chosen for quality and nutrition, not yield. By selecting their crops you keep heritage seeds in play, add to ecosystem biodiversity and preserve unique flavours.
