SEEK SEASONALITY - FIND FLAVOR

Brand Team

Photographer

Full time, based in our London office.

Working closely with the Creative Lead to create visually striking imagery, you’ll be part of a collaborative and innovative team who are actively transforming the food system for the better.
ABOUT THE JOB

We’re looking for a mission-led, detail-oriented Photographer to join our Brand team.

From shooting radically seasonal produce in studio and out in the field, to capturing top industry chefs as they cook up a storm for our #offthepass series, you will be versatile and adaptable in a wide range of challenging environments, intuitively knowing how to get the most out of the subject at hand.

You will also be disciplined and organised in order to efficiently archive sourcing images, keywording and preparing imagery for internal and external requests.

The right candidate will be proficient with Photoshop and Capture One; and have a strong, natural eye for composition and design with an experienced retouching background.

This is a real opportunity to make your mark creatively and to grow in a fast-paced environment that shifts with the seasons.

RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Capture imagery of produce, chef #offthepass series and sourcing content for newsletter, website and social media.
  • Photograph seasonal produce for the Natoora apps as well as cut out photography for third party platforms.
  • Archiving sourcing imagery, keywording and preparing images for picture requests.
  • Test and maintain camera and lighting equipment, flagging any potential issues with the creative-lead.
  • Work with an organised, detail-oriented and deadline focused approach.
  • Develop all relationships to ensure workflow and processes are efficient and productive.
  • Strive to constantly improve the quality and consistency of our photography and overall customer experience.
  • Demonstrate excellent communication skills.
  • Ensure all day to day duties are adhered to, and the studio is a safe and clean environment.
  • Manage studio inventory and kit list, reviewing monthly.
  • Maintain a secure and accessible data workflow, backup and archive system.
About YOU
  • You have experience of photography, filming, and editing, with knowledge and practical understanding of Adobe Creative Suite, Capture One and Premiere Pro.
  • A degree in photography, videography, or equivalent experience.
  • Produce lifestyle and product photography and videography.
  • You pay strong attention to detail and have a keen eye for aesthetics.
  • You have excellent communication skills and can clearly articulate your ideas, designs, and suggestions.
  • You are a strong team player who can collaborate effectively with different stakeholders.
  • You are eligible to work in the UK.
PERKS
  • Lunch made with the same seasonal produce we supply to chefs
  • Natoora produce at a significant discount
  • Your birthday off once you've hit the 6 month mark
  • Kitchen stocked from our own growers and a range of independent producers - including Estate Dairy milk and butter, Alma bread, Monmouth coffee, England Preserves jam, etc.

Our vision for a better food system is built on real human relationships and a diversity of experience, perspective and ideas. We are committed to equality of opportunity and welcome applications from individuals, regardless of age, gender, ethnicity, disability, sexual orientation, gender identity, socio-economic background, religion and/or belief.

Send stuart.matthews@natoora.com your CV and portfolio to and tell us how you’d fix the food system through photography.

OUR PEOPLE

See all

We exist to fix the food system.

People are more cut off from the origins of their food than ever. This makes flavor, nutrition and farming practices that protect the planet, almost impossible to find.

By working directly with growers, we create a more sustainable way forward for farming. By giving everyone the tools to understand the power of our food choices, we empower everybody to become drivers of change.

Now is the time for action. Join the food system revolution.

Know where your food comes from

We know the name of the person behind everything we source. Recognize their growing artistry to find out exactly where your food comes from (and why that matters).

MEET THE GROWERS

Make your diet diverse

Our growers work with varieties chosen for quality and nutrition, not yield. By selecting their crops you keep heritage seeds in play, add to ecosystem biodiversity and preserve unique flavors.
